The Vikings lived in a strange and scary world. They had a lot of dangerous and strange creatures they had too watch out for. They had many gods. The gods in the Norse religions had similarities with does of the Greek and roman mythology. Odin was the king of the gods and was very wise, Thor was his son, and was extremely powerful and could control the thunder, Loki was more of an antigod. He tricked others, both gods and men, to gain what he wanted. He was just a halfgod, but could use magic. The Vikings had many more gods and many stories about them. Frey, Frigg,Tyr, Balder (Baldur), and Magne, is worth mention.

In the world of the Vikings there was also jotner (jötunn) are a kind of giants, and are often the enemies of the gods. Many are stupid. But there are often evil. They are in some way similar to the trolls.

There was also elves, dwarfs and other creatures. Iinnorm was an evil creature that come from a tiny larva inside a nut, that could grow to an enormous size.

Many thinks there is a connection between UFOs and the Native Americans.

It is not so unlikely. Many Groups and tribes of the Native Americans have stories and legends of People from the stars. They have many names on them depending of the tribe, but Star Brothers or Star People are common names.

People have observed UFOs in and Close to reservation in the USA. Some have also see them land there.

Many think it can be because of the UFO can be safe from the US military force. The military cannot do anything inside a reservation without there be an emergency there. The UFO and its crew will be safer in the reservation than other Places in the USA,

It is possible the Native Americans can have contact for many hundreds and perhaps thousands of years with extraterrestrials. It seems that many native Americans and others who have learned their ways of life, don’t seems to be afraid when UFOs are seen, or when extraterrestrials contact them. Do the world get Mega cities?

Do the cities of the world grow to mega cities? It seems they do. Poulation grows in most areas of the world and People live longer than before. More and more also seek to the city life to get jobs or to get better services and oportunities. Less People want to live rural and we need less farmers though to technological advancement in farming.

But how will the life in a mega city be?

Difficult to say. But my Guess is it will be difficult to live there. Much crime, little posibility for government to Control and help, and very small houses or Apartment for People to live in. It will also be easy for deseases to spred. Also Food and water can be a problem.

Its only my Guess.

Sri Lanka are the place in Asia with highest biodiversity. Although it is one of the 25 places in the world with most diversity in animals, trees, and flowers. Sri Lanka has many national parks, and Wilpattu National Park in the North West of the island, is the biggest. The national parks are there to protect the special wildlife. The animals in Sri Lanka consist of many, but I can mention elephants that is ca 5800 of in Sri Lanka, ibis birds, deer’s, peacocks and many other types of birds. It is more than 250 bird’s natives to Sri Lanka.

The temperature is nice year around and go between + 14 Celsius at the coldest places up to ca + 32 Celsius, so it is ideal for a big diversity of creatures. That combine with the damp and rainy climate.

The mystic and fantastic island nation Sri Lanka part one

Sri Lanka are a fascinating country that lies in the Indian ocean. Sri Lanka is an island and surrounded by sea. India is the closest neighbor. Officially name is the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Many are fishers and farmers, but the country is also very known for the arts and crafts. Especially metal works and dancing.

On the 4 of February, the Sinhalese celebrated their 70 years of independency. In 1948 they got their independence from Great Britain and in 1972 they change the name of the state from Ceylon to Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka consist of two large ethnic groups, the Sinhalese, and the Tamils. The Sinhalese have ca 75 % of Sri Lankas population and the Tamils ca 18 %. The rest consist of different smaller groups of people, like the Moors, Burghers, Malays, and also Chinese.

Sri Lanka's documented history spans 3,000 years. But it is evidence of pre-historic human settlements dating back to at least 125,000 years. The Sri Lankan culture have roots long time back and have got influence and give influence on all visiting people, past the history.

Sri Lanka is part of the maritime silk road.

Sri Lanka is known for the friendly and smiling people.

The nation is known for tourism and have many ancient ruins to see and visit. And some of the most beautiful beaches in the world is located on Sri Lanka. The possibilities to go surfing are good in Sri Lanka.

Plastic in the sea

Plastic in the Sea

We humans have used the ocean and nature as a dumping place. Many places in the world people have just trow their trash into the nature without any thought. Boats dumping wastes into the sea. Plastic is some of the worst things. It takes a very long time to be broken down in nature, and many fish, seamammals and other animals, think it is food and eat it by mistake.

We all have responsibility to do something about it. Nobody can do everything, but each can do a little. If we pick up the trash we see, it will help a bit. And if we are trying to deliver trash to places made for taking care of it, it probably will be recycled.

We must take care of our planet, our seas, and our animals and the nature.

Please do some today and encourage others to do the same.

If enough people do some, we can soon have a clean and much better world to live in.

Choose also politicians that seems environmentally friendly.

The Nokken (Nøkken) ("ø" is a Norwegian and Scandinavian letter) is a creature that lives in ponds, lakes, slow rivers and so. It lures people to drown and is in most legends and adventures an evil being. It is one of the creatures from the underworld. It is often tought of as an elf creature.
Similar creatures are known in many areas in Europe. It has some area differences and also different ways of behave during the time. In New tales about it, it often plays on a violin to trick People close to the water. In older times it could discuse himself as a horse.
