Scandinavian myths: the world of the vikings 1: Gods and creatures

The Vikings lived in a strange and scary world. They had a lot of dangerous and strange creatures they had too watch out for. They had many gods. The gods in the Norse religions had similarities with does of the Greek and roman mythology. Odin was the king of the gods and was very wise, Thor was his son, and was extremely powerful and could control the thunder, Loki was more of an antigod. He tricked others, both gods and men, to gain what he wanted. He was just a halfgod, but could use magic. The Vikings had many more gods and many stories about them. Frey, Frigg,Tyr, Balder (Baldur), and  Magne, is worth mention.

In the world of the Vikings there was also jotner (jötunn) are a kind of giants, and are often the enemies of the gods. Many are stupid. But there are often evil. They are in some way similar to the trolls.

There was also elves, dwarfs and other creatures. Iinnorm was an evil creature that come from a tiny larva inside a nut, that could grow to an enormous size.

In alchemic text from around 1500, the alchemists tried to make an artificial mini human called Homunculus. Alchemy was the forerunner for chemistry and tried to prolong life, make gold from less expensive metals, and create life.

The way of making this creature was to use human sperm in a warm and dark place. I have found different ways of doing this. One way is to put it into a living egg of a hen. After 10-40 days in darkness the creature will be ready. Other ways are to use a horse womb with the human sperm. What you should get is a small human like creature.

16. mars 1957 a spaceship landed on Earth.

Thor's presence begins in 1957 when he visited the Eisenhower administration. He is said to resemble us (human features), although much more handsome, but what "struck him out" was that he could apparently walk through walls and leave no fingerprints. Today, people are still trying to find his ship, the Victory One, which is said to be located near Lake Mead in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sightings of "Venusians" began in the 50s in Hunterdon County, NJ with Howard Menger, who claims they frequently came to his farm. He went on talk shows to talk about his experiences. He also hosted conventions. At one of these conventions appeared Commander Valiant Thor, who claimed he was the leader of all Venusians on Earth. He vowed his audiences by speaking any language known to man, including dialects. Thus began Thor's mystery.

Thor said he came from a race of Venusians that lived within the planet itself, not on its surface. They were superior to humans: more intelligent, better-looking, less-violent. They were sent here, he said, to protect humans from themselves and to prevent nuclear war. He asked to speak with the President, but instead, according to Thor, he met with Secretary of State John F. Dulles. He was held by the Pentagon for questioning. However, Thor's story gets stranger with the introduction of Frank Stranges.

Stranges said that agents of the Venusians escorted him to the Pentagon in 1959 to meet with Val, and he claimed to have seen Val's brother, Donn Thor, walk through walls. He also said that, upon meeting Valiant for the first time, the alien showed him a suit that would only zipper when Val waved his hand; it was made from "fabric" that could not be destroyed. The alien said to Strangest that the government was doing tests on him, and his IQ was determined to be close, or over, 200. Strangest, an ordained minister (preacher) said that Valiant and his shipmates (among them Donn and Jill, not related to the brothers) are a race of people created by God before Adam, and never fell from grace like humankind did.

Mexico is home to a very strange area called The Silent Zone

Attention was drawn to the area in the 1970’s when a faulty American missile was launched from the White Sands Proving Grounds in New Mexico and crashed into the zone. US Air Force officials went to investigate the region and discovered several anomalies.

They found out that no signals were able to penetrate the area; radio and satellite signals were distorted or blocked by strong and unexplained magnetic fields. This radio wave dark spot was then nicknamed the Silent Zone. The Mexican government has since built a research facility aimed at studying the unusual phenomena. Many speculate that the government is researching much more than it is admitting and the area holds untold secrets.

One of the odd attributes of the region is its unusually high levels of magnetite and uranium deposits that scientists believe are causing electromagnetic pulses able to disrupt radio signals. It is also a hotbed for meteorites, which could account for the magnetic properties that cause metallic objects to end up falling from the skies. Compasses does not work The wildlife is also reported to behave differently in the area. It is also rapports of strange animals or mutations in and around this area.

Unexplained activity is also reported to happen in the basin; the locals report strange lights, UFO sightings and alien encounters. Some theorists proposed the continued existence of a portal or a vortex in the area. Mexican farmers tell tales of mysterious lights hovering over the Silent Zone and strangers appearing out of thin air. Multiple witnesses report encountering the same three blonde humans that claim they “came from above”.

For a long time, flashes of light have been seen on the moons surface or from some craters. Nobody knows what does lights can be, but the theories are many. some say it is cities on the moon, others say it can be UFOs or something that reflects light. No good answer have come yet. There is no known volcanic activity on the Moon so it can not be that.

Many thinks there is a connection between UFOs and the Native Americans. 

It is not so unlikely. Many Groups and tribes of the Native Americans have stories and legends of People from the stars. They have many names on them depending of the tribe, but Star Brothers or Star People are common names. 

People have observed UFOs in and Close to reservation in the USA. Some have also see them land there.

Many think it can be because of the UFO can be safe from the US military force. The military cannot do anything inside a reservation without there be an emergency there. The UFO and its crew will be safer in the reservation than other Places in the USA,

Chupacabra is a mystical creature that has been told about since ca. 1987, and with first witness rapport from ca. 1995. It is a creature or animal that sucks blood from goats, hens, and other small household animals. The name means goatsucker in Spanish, and is a reference till the killing and sucking of blood. It started in Puerto Rico, and has been spread to rest of South and Central America and to USA. It has also been seen in Russia and in the Philippines.

The animal has many descriptions, but is often described as a doglike animal, but also with reptilian feats. Often seen with red, glowing eyes.

What is Chupacabra? The theories are many. Some say it is a runaway experiment, some say it is an extraterrestrial being, some say it is a demon. Also, that it can be a biological weapon has been suggested.

The Nazca lines have since the discovery from air in the 1930s fascinated People and scientists. What are they for? who made them? Did it have a purpose? How did they manage the making?

It is wonderful drawings on this big plane. The lines and geo glyphs. The drawing is of animals and crosses. But one is seeming to be an astronaut. The ancient alien theory, say that the drawings where made after a visitation of aliens in the past. Maybe does aliens where misunderstood, and people thought they where gods. They made the drawing for respect the gods or for them to come back again. We don’t know, but this theory is interesting.

It is many theories, all from gods and aliens made them, or people in the area made them to greet or remember their visit. Most can just be viewed from the sky, so maybe the people of Nazca used balloons or something to view them.

Many of the locals when the lines of Nazca where created, had elongated sculls. An analyze of a scull show the genetics had similarities to the genetics we now find mostly in Scandinavia. Maybe they come from Scandinavia in the Viking age to settle. We know the Vikings reached north America, and traveled around  most of the known world at the time, so it could be possible.

Short about the Ancient Aliens theory

 

The Ancient Aliens theory is about influence of extraterrestrials in the past. It says that the visits of the aliens and they influence many religions where thought to be gods, because of their technology and knowledge. They teach human different technics, like building, astrology, metallurgy, and so. Some also say we where made by the aliens, by manipulation of DNA. Maybe we are hybrids of the aliens and early humanoid apes?

In the Ancient Aliens theory, we can see the proof in ancient buildings and in myths and legends. The religions are full of stories of creatures coming from the sky. They are aliens in the Ancient Aliens theory. Gods and angels and demons are the aliens that visit our planet in the past

In Sweden and Norway, we have stories about trolls. They are creatures that lives in forests and mountains and often look like the environment surrounding them. They could be big and have plants growing on them. They disliked Christian symbolic and holy places.

They where often believed to be stupid, and easy to trick to get away from them. But they could be very evil and dangerous still. The trolls also feared the sun. they turned too stone if exposed to sunlight. Big, special looking rocks in nature was believed to be trolls turned too stones.

In many stories in Scandinavian folklore the trolls are often the bad guy. They exist not in the real, and we should be glad they don’t.

Many say Area 51 is a base where the U.S. government have extraterrestrial technology and crashed UFOs and even dead or living extraterrestrial creatures.

But can this be true?

People have asked this for a long time, and there is not easy to say what is realy true. But we know this base have and possibly still are a Place where CIA and the US Airforce develop and experiment with new types of air planes and other Technology. Some of it can possibly seem too be out of this world, because of the strange design like the fighter plane F 117.

The base has because of its strategic value and importance a high Level of security and silence surround the activity there. It is not so strange at a place where New technology for bringing the US military a advance in a future war or conflict.

Because of this it is not so strange People Wonder what happens inside this base. We know many planes have come from the work at this Place, like the U-2 spy planes during the Cold war.

Close too the area it where also testing of nuclear weapons and rocket during the 50 and 60ies. It was necessary to hold this technology secret from the soviet and others during the cold war, so the secret and security around the area was very natural at that time. The situation is probably the same today. The us government needs to keep some secrets to secure the country.

Seamonsters...are they real?

 Many Places around the globe have tales about creatures in sea, ocean or lakes.

Most famous is the Loch Ness monster, Nessie, but all around the world People have seen some similar creature. In Norway we have Selma in Seljord lake (Seljord vatnet) that have been seen in centuries, around Vancouver Island, in Japan and in Lake Champlain in the U.S.A there is a creature who seem too be of same specie.

In Scandinavian myth there are the Kraken who is a big octopus who lived outside the coast of Norway and in the Atlantic Ocean.

Kraken was just a story until the giant octopus was discovered. it has been found different types of big octopuses who can give credit to the myth.

The sea has always been a mystic place with many strange creatures. Other big sea creatures as the whales and big sharks. They could have been misunderstood when sighted. Maybe a sight of them on distance or in bad weather or mist or fog. Drifting plants from the seafloor could also be misinterpreted in some condition and sea creatures that are found on the seashore dead, can look very different from their living form if the putrefaction have started. They can look so different that even experienced zoologist or biologists can have difficulties with recognize what creature it is.

Extraterrestial life 1

I call this post Extraterrestial life one because i axpect to write many times about this theme or themes Close to this.

In the space all the ingreadience for making life as we know it exist, The simplest form of amino acids does exist in the tales of comets. We have found water on the moon and on Mars, Jupiters moon, Europe, has probably flothing water under the ice on the surface.
The moon has probably great seas under the ice.
Life can probably exist in enviorment we dont can imagine also. We have on Earth found bacterias that live in high radioactive areas like nuclear reactors. Scorpions and cockroaches can survive high levels of radioation as well. 
Some animals can live in high heat around undersea volcanos, others in extreme salty seas and ponds. Many animals also develop or evolve to adept to higher polution from human activity. 

There are posibility many other extreme places can maintain life and we will discover in the years to come.

Ghosts .....are they real?

All over the world people see ghost and spirits. Most ghost are said to be people who has died. Some people see relatives or other closed one after they have passed away.



Some people experience scary stuff with the ghost or spirit, other just feel love or that the spirit want to help or guide them. 

Many scientists have researched the phenomena but no conclusion has been made. Most in the established scientific community have disclaimed ghosts as superstition, but still in our modern world, people still have experience with spirits of the dead. Are there some explanations for ghosts other than they are dead who come back to our world?



it is many suggestions of what ghosts are. Some think they are visitors from another dimension, or from heaven or another realm of the dead. Another say it can be a psychological phenoma. 



Some experience with ghost are probably also misunderstanding or the way we perceive something. In the darkness or in fog or other weather conditions stuff looks different, and can easily be seen as something else than it is. 





I cant say if ghosts are real. I’m open to it. What do you believe? Do you have a story of a experience Wwth a ghost or a spirit? 

After effect of encounter with UFOs.

Some people who has encounter a UFO, have in the aftermath, experienced different physical and mental effects.

Wounds, effect of radiation, headache, confusion to mention some. I have search internet, read in books and watch TV to get information about this.

It seems that many get some physical effects if they get close to some of these crafts. We must assume they are crafts, so I use that term here.  

What is these Crafts? Are they from earth or from another planet or dimension? Why do they come here? Some claim they see beings inside or outside these crafts, but not in all cases. Other crafts the witness only see a bright light. Maybe they are not a craft at all. Some of the crafts and UFOs can be planes or experiment vicles

Mental effects also acquire.
Of course, many get scarred and confused by the experience, but some also seems to have amnesia or memoryloss. Also, some experience loss of time. They look at the clock and much time they can’t account.

It is also said that some get scanned physical and also a feeling of them being mind read. Telepathic experiences are also described.

Some also claim they get taken aboard the crafts and get experimented on. Some after meeting with UFOs on road or else, and some from home.

What is these experiences? Why do people experience this? Is it hallucinations?

I want to seek out theories and hypotheses of the world also, from myths, and from scien

ence. I will look at what interests me, and what i think you as a Reader can like and be fascinated by.


Our world and the Cosmos is filled With mysteries and strange happenings, wierd stories and other interesting Things. We know only a small portion of everything. Like what is the UFOs and lights People all over the world see? does there exist a monster in Loch Ness? What about other Places? Many clame they have seen strange seacreatures and monsters all over the world. What New Things can the science do? Can we live on the moon or on Mars soon? Can we live forever? can we Cure all types of cancer soon? Do flying cars soon be comon?

The world is a strange Place and I allways be very fascinated of what mysteries it hides.
